Profile:Born into a loving family, Kanoma grew up with both his parents happily married. His father, as is typical of Japanese men, was away for a good deal of his childhood, but made sure both his wife and son knew they were loved and not forgotten.

Picked on at school for looking too much like a girl, Kanoma burried himself in his studies, excelling in science and mathematics. The teen could often be found in the library, nose stuck in a book, when he wasn't in class.
